Between GBV , MSV and DV ; A rigid dichotomy
While it can be argued that men are recorded to be the real perpetrators of physical or inter personal violence against women, GBV. Men due to their physical prowess , women always feel helpless and helpless when they engage in fisticuffs with the male gender, hence, they are euphemically referred as weaker sex. True as this may be , it can't be contrasted that some men , although few also experience what I will call MSV , male specific violence.
Violence or what the philosophers define as a contrast to reasons is a frequently discussed issue and its often called a clash to will, it occurs when one is at his wit's end provoked and find it difficult to mitigate or control their emotions , thus can not find any other option than taking Violence as a relief road.
Violence can be classified as Domestic, psychological, verbal, socio economic, patriarchal, sexual assault striking, systematic neglect etc .
The reasons for the violence called philosophical theories are multifarious as the type of violence itself. It spreads between lack of control of libido, sadistic attitude, exchange , ecological; sub cultural, evolutionary , inequality, psychopatholigical theories and others .
Domestic violence happens when there is a close relationship between the perpetrator and the victim and male specific violence occurs when male gender is the victim of the violence eg beating by wife, verbal abuse, sleeping with men outside marriage, mating or food denial, etc.
In all these , the cultural environment or the cultural norms ,impact of public policy, setting, male chaverunism etc play a vital role . These as they say will be a discussion for another day.
