THOUGHTS OF FEMOLAD: LIFE AND THE PHOENIX OPTION

 LIFE AND THE PHOENIX OPTION

“Here in this suffering, all previous beliefs are called into question. They are consumed in the fire sparked and fueled by our own illusion. The pain becomes the ashes we are now entombed in. It is only when we find ourselves at this most imprisoned of junctures that we emerge again, the phoenix of our very life which is ever so much more beautiful than the last one.” — TEAL

The Phoenix is a mythical bird that out of choice or circumstances consciously consumes itself in flames to be reborn new from its ashes.

The essence of the Phoenix is the indestructibility. Instead of being mortified, it is renewed; Stronger, better and fitter than it had been

The phoenix symbolizes the transformation that each human has the option to choose to take and/or be forced into by imminent threats to existence and/or advancement at some point in time.

A man has the option to go the way of the mythical bird and be reborn anew from the ashes or allow himself to be sitting duck waiting for death.

Our greatest problem is that we are not sufficiently awake and aware to see that death is near, so we do not adequately prepare for what we need to face.

It needs to be understood that the death to which we refer is not always physical death. There are many deaths we face at many different levels of our being and many different times of our life.

It is important to our creative endeavors in that it is one of the myths which probably best describes the transformation that our ego must undergo.

The phoenix is the symbol of the transformation of human consciousness and our creative spirit that each of us must undergo to one degree or another to create what we desire. The method that is used is our choice but the process is inescapable.

The Phoenix creates the nest where it rejuvenates. The nest represents the environment while the bird is the inner self. It is not only the individual which needs to be transformed but the environment, the nest which it created.

When your world comes crashing down, you have a chance to do something you couldn’t have done before: rise up. You can only be reborn if you’ve known what it feels like to die inside. Your story might be called Resilience or Hope or even Freedom. It’s the story of the phoenix.

The phoenix hope, can wing her way through the desert skies, and still defy fortune’s spite; REVIVE FROM ASHES AND RISE.

I am not sure whether the phoenix story is real or just another myth but I have learned a lot from it.

At certain stages in life the PHOENIX OPTION is the best option.

WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S ALL OVER, CREATE THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE FIRE TO RISE AGAIN FROM THE ASHES
