Toyin Adegbola, popularly
known as Toyin Asewo to re Universe is a Nigerian film actress, producer and
director.
Toyin has created a niche
for herself, not only in the Theater Industry but also in many facets of life.
Toyin is an online social
influencer and a motivational speaker. Mrs Adegbola takes special interest in
helping the youth achieve their dreams.
It was glitz and glamour on Thursday 14th December, 2023 when the legendary Nollywood diva added another feather to her cap by bagging a Doctorate Degree in Entertainment and Philosophy.
The award, by the Christ Proclaimer Theological Seminary USA, was in conjunction with Imole TV..
While presenting the award
Pastor Dr. Segun Ajani, the Provost of the College, described Mrs
Adegbola as a woman who has contributed immensely to humanity in general and to
faith. He enjoined her to see the award as a challenge to do more.
The awardee in a statement to press after the ceremony thanked the Seminary for the recognition. She said the spirit of God has been her guide over the years and prayed that the spirit will never leave her.
Sunday, a young man in Toyin’s
crew described her as a great mentor and a mother emeritus.
Ogbeni Femi Ladapo (Femolad),
the Publisher of the Kaleidoscope Magazine and long-time friend of the awardee
said Toyin is an achiever not only because she’s got the talent but she is an
ardent and diligent worker. Whatever she sets her mind to do she does well. He further
described Adegbola as God fearing and lover of humanity.
