ESOMIOR OFFERS CASH DONATION TO AID RECOVERY EFFORTS

The Political Head and Administrator of Ibadan East Local Council Development Area, Hon. Mrs Mary Esomior, along with the entire management of the council, made a visit to Orita Aperin Market today to address the fire inferno that occurred recently.

During the visit, the council boss expressed her concern for the affected market and its traders. She acknowledged the need for close collaboration and emphasized that the council should be kept informed and involved in any future developments within the market.

According to a release made available to press by the Head of Information Unit of Ibadan East L C D A. Mrs Amusan Funmilayo the council demonstrated its commitment to the well-being of the traders through the market's executive by presenting a cash token to support them.  Moreover, Hon Esomior expressed her determination to undertake further initiatives to assist in the market's restoration and revitalization of the market and its traders.

Earlier in his address, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Olabode Abayomi acknowledged the hardship the traders have endured following the tragic incident and said the purpose of this visit is to extend a helping hand within the council' s current capacity to assist  resilient traders in their recovery from the recent devastating fire inferno.

In his response, the babaloja of Orita Aperin, Mr Abiodun Ahmed conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the entire management of the council for their unwavering love and support during the unfortunate incident. He also expressed gratitude to the political head for her prompt response on the day of the fire outbreak.

Present at the visit were: the heads of  departments, as well as deputies and unit heads representing the council area and the executive of the market.
