RAMADAN: ESOMIOR FELICITATES MUSLIMS
Ibadan East Local Council Development Area Boss Encourages Muslims to Pray for the Nation and Extend Generosity during Ramadan
As the holy month of Ramadan commenced, the political head
and Administrator of Ibadan East Local Council Development Area, Hon. Mrs Mary
Esomior has urged the Muslim community
across the council area to embrace the spirit of compassion, prayer, and generosity
to support the less privileged.
She made the call while felicitates Muslim on the
commencement of 30 days fasting.
Hon Esomior said the sacred month of Ramadan holds
significant importance for Muslims worldwide as it provides an opportunity for
spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of goodwill. In light of this,
the council boss fervently encourages its Muslim residents to use this
auspicious occasion for both personal and communal growth.
Recognizing the power of collective prayers and the
transformative impact of charitable deeds, the council boss stresses the
importance of supplications for the progress, unity, and prosperity of our
beloved country. Invoking divine blessings, guidance, and mercy upon Nigeria is
crucial during these trying times.
She called upon Muslims to extend their generosity to the
less privileged and vulnerable members of the society.
Hon Esomior said "the true essence of Ramadan lies in
sharing the bounties we have been bestowed upon, and supporting those who are
less privileged."
May this Ramadan foster unity, understanding, and peace
within our community, and may our collective prayers bring about positive
change within Nigeria.
