LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION: ESORMIOR EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO THE PEOPLE OF IBADAN EAST LCDA AND GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE

The Political Head/Administrator of Ibadan East LCDA, Hon. Mrs. Mary Esormior, has been declared the winner of the Vice Chairmanship position for a second term by the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC).

In a statement issued by the Council's Information Officer, Funmilayo Amusan, Hon. Esormior expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the people of Ibadan East LCDA for their overwhelming support and trust in her leadership. 

She said, "I am deeply grateful to the people of our great LCDA for re-electing me as their Vice Chairman. This victory belongs to all of us, and I promise to continue working tirelessly for the progress and development of our community."

The Council Boss also extended her appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his leadership and support.

She said, "I am thankful to Governor Makinde for his vision and commitment to grassroots development, which has enabled us to achieve significant milestones in our LCDA. I look forward to continuing our partnership to deliver more dividends of democracy to our people."

Esormior, who was the Vice Chairman and Political Head of Administration of Ibadan East L. C. D. A. for the last regime from 2021 to 2024 before being re-elected, is from ward 5 in Ibadan North East Local Government.
