OGUNJOBI (TE-SOJUE) CONGRATULATES AKINTAYO, ESOMIOR, OTHERS. LAUDS MAKINDE FOR EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP
Chief Abiodun Samuel Ogunjobi, popularly known as Te-Sojue has congratulated Honorable Ibrahim Akintayo on his swearing-in as the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government for a second term in office. Also joined in the congratulatory message is the Executive Vice Chairman and Political Head of Ibadan East LCDA, Honorable Mary Olubunmi Esomior who also returns for a second term.
He also felicitates with the 12 elected Councilors representing
the twelve wards of the Local Government.
In a statement made available to press on Thursday, the
Ashiwaju of Oje Land also expressed appreciation to the electorate across the
length and breadth of Ibadan North East Local Government Area for the love
shown in re-electing the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just
concluded Local Government Elections.
To the Party Leaders and faithful in the Local Government he
expressed gratitude for their diligence and temerity throughout the campaign period,
rallies and eventually at the polls.
Chief Ogunjobi commended the Executive Governor of Oyo
State, His Excellency Oluseyi Makinde for ensuring a credible election and
providing good governance and exemplary leadership to the people of the
Pacesetter State.
Te-Sojue said the performance of Governor Makinde really enhanced the electoral fortunes of the Party at the polls especially in his home local government. He enjoined the newly sworn in Council helmsmen to always look up to the good examples laid by the Peoples’ Governor on a daily basis.
While enjoining the newly sworn-in officers to see their new
positions as a call to serve, he prayed that they will all live to give glory
to God for the opportunity.
He advised them all to use their wealth of experience and
core competencies in their new positions. They should see their appointments as
a call to service to God and humanity.
