ALADETAN ILELADEWA SWORN IN AS CHAIRMAN OLUYOLE LOCAL GOVERNMENT

 

Miss Aladetan Ileladewa Opeyemi, student of Oyo State Comprehensive Model School was was yesterday 20th November 2024 sworn in as a ceremonial Chairman of Oluyole Local Government having won the maiden edition of the Oluyole Schools Challenge.

This was in fulfilling the promise made by the Local Government Chairman Engineer Akeem Olatunji. True to his words Miss Aladetan was driven in the Chairman's official car to the council. She sat on the Chairman's seat and presided over some official functions.

She also held a meeting with direcors and some management staff of the Local Government. Part of the duties for the day was the distribution of educational materials to Schools in Oluyole Local Government including her own school.

This program according to Engineer Akeem Olatunji is a great morale booster for students to always strive for academic excellence instead of getting involved in nefarious activities.

The climax of the day was the roll of honor mounted on both sides by students of Oyo State Comprehensive Model School when miss Aladetan Ileladewa Opeyemi returned to the school. They clapped and rejoiced in welcoming their hero.
